Performance Over Time

Purpose:

  • Trend Analysis: Visualize how prompt performance, cost, and error rates change over time.

  • Historical Benchmarking: Compare current performance against historical data to determine the impact of prompt optimizations.

  • Strategic Decision-Making: Identify seasonal or contextual trends that may affect AI performance, allowing you to proactively adjust your prompt strategies.

Example: Imagine your application handles customer service queries via an AI chatbot. Using the Performance Over Time tool, you can monitor whether changes in prompt configuration (e.g., after deploying a new version of the chatbot) lead to a measurable improvement in accuracy. If you see a downward trend in error rates following your update, you can confidently conclude that your modifications are effective.
